My top Favorite Hair Styling Products for 2024!
Ahhhhh, hello!
It’s been some time friends and I know I said this before, but let’s be real things have changed and I don’t have all the time in the world like I used to. But I’m here now and ready to share with you all some of my favorite lines on the market right now!
So let’s get into it!
Shampoo + Conditioner
As a Specialized Hand Tied Extension + Custom Color Artist, Shampoos and Conditioners are one of my top retail items because of the importance they play in the overall maintenance and care of your color.
When deciding what brands to purchase, one of the biggest factors you should be looking at are ingredients such as Sulfates. Now I know Sulfate-Free was all the rage for some time, but really is only necessary for those who wear Extensions, Color their hair or are seriously allergic to heavy Sulfates. But let me be clear, Sulfates are in Sulfate-Free shampoos as well, they are just way more mild but are necessary to “cleanse” the hair no matter what. You also want to examine the quality of the ingredients, most professional lines use high quality ingredients that will not strip the hair unlike consumer grade shampoos + conditioners you find at your local markets.
With that being said, here are some of my favs:
ORIBE GOLD LUST SHAMPOO + CONDITIONER:
This Shampoo + Conditioner utilizes high end oils and extracts to smooth and undo damage from your hair over time. It will restore dry hair, seal in moisture and help mend your split ends. Also smells so clean + fresh!
ORIBE SERENE SCALP ANTI-DANDRUFF SHAMPOO:
This is one I always recommend, especially if you suffer from dry itchy scalp, dandruff, psoriasis, or any other scalp conditions. It’s also a great one to have on hand if you don’t wash often, as it will help to clear the pores and soothe your scalp from build up.
AG COLOUR CARE SHAMPOO + CONDITIONER:
This duo is one of my favorites for those who are color treated but don’t need a ton of repair. It’s a gentle cleanse, that will help to extend the life of your color and protect it from UV + Free radical damage.
Styling Products…
Shampoo and Conditioner set the foundation for your styled hair, but Styling Products are what the the ground work for success in your finished look. These are always one of my top favorite things to chat about behind the chair because I believe that every client needs three products in their arsenals and that is all!
This product provides high shine, heat protection and frizz free hair! It’s super lightweight and can be reapplied for restyling as well.
This stuff is the GOAT of Dry Shampoos. Not only does it not feel gritty in the hair or leave residue, its lightweight but makes your hair look freshly washed and smells so fresh! It utilizes Rice and Tapioca to soak up excess oils and refreshed.
LEAF + FLOWER PHYTOMOLECUAR OIL:
Leaf and Flower has created an incredible line that utilizes CBD [3 Types] to help rejuvenate collagen production in the hair, balance out your scalp, mend your split ends and add so much luster and shine. You can find all of this in this incredible oil, and the best part? It’s doesn’t build up! You can use this all day long and never get oily, and take that from me who has super fine hair! My clients and myself cannot get enough of this gem!
